Questions, corrections, source suggestions, and permissions enquiries are all welcome. The fastest way to get a useful reply is to include the entry title and the specific source detail in question.

Replies are sent as time allows; this is an independent project / a project maintained alongside other work, so please allow a reasonable window before following up.
What to include
- Corrections. Name the entry, quote the text as it currently appears, and state what it should read. A link or citation to the edition you are working from is the most helpful thing you can send.
- Source suggestions. Name the work, the passage (chapter, canto, stanza, or line numbers), and if possible a public-domain edition or translation that could be cited.
- Copyright and takedown requests. Please use the process described on the Copyright & Takedown page, which lists the details needed to act on a request quickly.
- Permissions and reuse. Note that most quoted material belongs to the editors, translators, and publishers named in each citation rather than to this site — see Copyright & Takedown.
What this archive cannot help with
Grimword is a finding aid, not a research service. Requests to translate new material, locate passages outside the traditions covered, or supply copies of copyrighted editions generally cannot be accommodated.
